Looking for a food-saavy and outgoing volunteer to assist with Book Bites! We'll be teaching tweens (ages 8-12) how to make mochi and introducing them to AAPI titles in our collection.
Tasks include:
- set up and break down of the program space (moving tables, setting up burners, etc.)
- assisting tweens with cooking mochi safely in pots and rolling out dough
- cleaning cooking spaces
- other tasks as assigned
Optional Training Shift: May 9th, 2026 | 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM (Staff Area)
Event Shift: May 12th, 2026 | 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM (Storytelling Room)
