Who We Are

The Traphene Hickman Library's Adult Services Department strives to build and enrich the community by creating experiences that inspire discovery, empowering adults to grow and thrive.

What We Do

Both teen and adult volunteers have the chance to do a variety of activities that are helpful to the public and the library staff.

Volunteering in Adult Services can include but is not limited to:

  • Organization projects (organizing closets, maintaining adult spaces, day to day tasks, etc.)
  • Prepping for adult programs (putting together kits, prepping craft supplies, etc.)
  • Working adult programs (greeting, set up & tear down, interacting with the attendees, etc.)

We strive to have our volunteers use their talents, strengths, and to enjoy their time as volunteers.
